Robert has extensive experience in the litigation of civil and commercial matters, including claims arising from contract disputes, business torts, equipment repossessions, mechanic's liens, aviation disasters, personal injury, wrongful death, property damage, premises liability, and general negligence. He counsels several clients with international business concerns on issues ranging from contract negotiation to the litigation of commercial disputes.
Robert is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and the South Florida Legal Guide named him as an "Up and Comer" among lawyers in South Florida. He is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and the Courts of the State of Florida.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami School of Business. He is a 1991 cum laude graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a published member of the University of Miami Law Review, a Special Articles and Comments Editor of the University of Miami Entertainment & Sports Law Review, and an Executive Member of the Moot Court Board. He is active in the South Florida community, serving as a member of the Young Leader's Society of the United Way of Miami-Dade County and the Cuban-American Bar Association. He is fluent in Spanish.
